What is Jikoku?
Jikoku is a native productivity app for Mac that places Apple Reminders, calendars and contacts beside local notes, meeting transcription and on-device AI in one workspace.
Does Jikoku send notes or meetings to an AI server?
No. Core speech and language processing runs on Apple Silicon. Notes, meeting audio, transcripts, prompts and model output are not sent to Jikoku or a third-party AI service for processing.
What can sync through iCloud?
Apple can sync Calendar, Reminders and Contacts through iCloud, while configured calendar providers use their own connections. Jikoku notes stay local inside the app and can be exported to a destination you choose.
Which Macs can run Jikoku?
Jikoku requires macOS 14 or later and Apple Silicon. During the public beta, the local speech and language models are optional downloads started from Settings.
