These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Jikoku application for macOS (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Jikoku grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple computers that you own or control, for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the App.
Jikoku is designed to run entirely on your device. Your calendars and reminders are accessed through Apple’s EventKit and synced only through your own iCloud account — there are no Jikoku servers, accounts, or logins. Speech recognition and task understanding are performed locally on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal content.
You agree not to:
The App includes open-source components, each under its own license: WhisperKit (MIT License), Apple MLX (MIT License), and the Qwen3-4B model by Alibaba Cloud (Apache License 2.0). Those components remain the property of their respective authors and are provided under their respective terms.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the App at your own risk. Jikoku is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
